Study of Addictions

This project consists of two concertina books with a focus on digital addictions, comparing it to drug and alcohol addictions. The accordion book format is symbolic of my findings that digital and smartphone addiction has a much more wide-reaching impact than is usually acknowledged, yet is not given the same attention as other forms of addiction. This project seeks to bring awareness to the repetitive lifestyle posed by any type of addiction.

I created these original illustrations by leveraging surveys I conducted, taking inspiration from renowned photographers, and drawing from documentaries like "Drugs Inc."
